Rejoice always, pray without ceasing, give thanks in all circumstances; for this is the will of God in Christ Jesus for you. (1 Thessalonians 5:16-18)

If we pursue happiness based on what “happens” to us, we will be disappointed, distressed, and unhappy when things do not go the way we want them. However, when our lives are founded on an eternal (Heavenly) perspective, we can experience absolute joy and peace no matter what happens. When we utterly understand what truly we deserve (Death) and what God gave instead, we will naturally be thankful when He provided us with eternal salvation. Moreover, God continually lavishes kindness upon our lives in many ways, including surrounding us with friends and family and providing for our every need. The appropriate response to God’s goodness is a heart of genuine gratitude.

Friends, because of Jesus, we can live with joy regardless of our circumstances, as our happiness is rooted in an eternal perspective and not in earthly things. God is all-sufficient; He does not need our money or wisdom and knowledge because He is all-knowing God. But there is something He asks of us, which is thanking and praising Him for all His mercies and grace upon us. May we be thankful to our Father in Heaven for all His Blessings. Would you pray with me?

Heavenly Father, my soul will bless Your name, my tongue will sing of Your praises, for You are God, and Your mercy endures forever. Thank You, Lord, for the divine deliverance I have received from You, which set me free from the shackles of all my sins and the oppressions of Satan. It is in Your Mighty Name I pray, Amen.

God Bless and have a Blessed Day, Friends <><
