“For the LORD of hosts has purposed, and who will annul it? His hand is stretched out, and who will turn it back?” (Isaiah 14:27)
The last few nights, I have woke up to the words, “who can stop the Lord almighty, which are lyrics to the song (The Lion and the Lamb) by Big Daddy Weave. As I tossed and turned (feeling unsettled), I found myself speaking these words aloud. Ever been there? An old Christian friend of mine once mentioned, ‘this is God’s way of getting our attention about something – when it happens, just ask God what it is?’ Have you ever questioned your ability (or capability) to do something, or even God’s ability to do it through you? I asked God this morning, ‘what is it?’ He gave me this Scripture (Isaiah 14:27)
God is extraordinary; He has zero limitations in His ability to accomplish what He wants to be done; the great thing is, He allows us to be a part of it, as (Philippians 1:6) tells us, “And I am sure of this, that he who began a good work in you will bring it to completion at the day of Jesus Christ.”
Friend, what does God want to accomplish through you today? Would you pray with me?
Father, help me cultivate spiritual disciplines to receive what You have to tell me and more willing to do what You require. May I not only come to You with my needs, my praise, and my thanksgiving but make a habit of spending time in worshipful listening. Help me not to allow the distractions of the busyness of life to drown out Your still small voice. Help me be guided in all things by You, rather than my imperfect judgment. Amen.

God Bless and have a Blessed Day, Friends <><
