After our one-day fundraiser, the funds were immediately sent to the Dominican Republic, where the project for the community center has begun. A local Haitian pastor was provided with work doing the concrete work to begin the process. Steps and walkways are now in and we are ready for the next job to begin adjoining the existing structure. Also, a local teacher, Bernardo has signed on to teach three (3) days a week. An expanded community center, fresh water cistern for the village and a basketball court are some of the things that will be accomplished because of the partnership with Crossover Cups Mission in the Dominican Republic and 88.7 The Bridge.
