The Crossover CUPS Mission is very passionate about sustainability. Once the young children who attend our Bible Camps become teenagers, they not only have the opportunity to join in the sewing and baking vocational programs, but they enter discipleship and leadership training classes. These young adults who grew up attending Bible Camps are now in training to be able to share the Gospel with the next generation of young children! They are becoming leaders in their communities and role models in which younger children can look up to.
Read below what one young leader had to say about the training they have been receiving:
“My name is Yomeris and I have been in the program approximately six or seven years. During the time that I have been here, I have learned how I should walk in the Lord. Every day the missionaries tell us that we are the example by which a lot of kids can learn about Christ.
A lot of families and a lot of kids don’t know about the Bible or about Jesus. We are the example so that they can come to Christ. The atmosphere is changing. The leaders strive so that every child can walk correctly, and their families also, so that they can be a part of what the kids are learning. So that they can respond, and so that others can meet Jesus.
For me, it is a joy to be teaching the kids. It’s a pleasure also to learn what they are doing. Throughout this time, I have seen the growth of a lot of young people and children. I have been able to see how their attitude has changed and their lifestyle.”
