We put away that bathing suit that we bought during the winter, hoping it would fit by summer.
And we finally give up on making sure all the weeds in our garden are pulled.
Or maybe it’s just me?
One other thing that happens every summer…
The Summer Slump. As people head out of town for vacation or stay busy with outdoor activities, the monthly giving to support non-profit ministries like The Bridge goes down.
Since we rely on your financial gifts to continue broadcasts and events during the summer, we’re asking if you’d consider supporting The Bridge this summer with a tax-deductible donation?
Taking The Bridge along on family vacations to Chincoteague was answered prayer for Joy from Dover. She is excited to have The Bridge available on 92.5 FM when her family goes camping each weekend during the summer.
Summer is also a great time to meet new friends…
Like the couple from Maine who found The Bridge on their annual beach vacation. They became loyal listeners and donors. Recently they made Delmarva their permanent home!
As tourists converge on Delmarva beaches this summer, our potential to reach thousands of new people increases dramatically. And with our scheduled outreaches including the Delaware State Fair concert with Lauren Daigle and Zach Williams plus other concerts and events, our budget doesn’t take the summer off.
Remember you can listen to The Bridge on vacation anywhere in the world by using our free app. If you’re in Ocean City, MD this summer, check our new frequency at 94.3 FM! Thanks for helping sustain this ministry during the difficult summer months with your gift today.
Can you help us get a jump on the summer slump?
Please give online today -or- if it is easier to give via your phone, simply text the word SUMMER to 855-887-8870.
We are so grateful for you!
We pray God’s greatest blessings on you and thank you for your generous heart!
