Homeless Supply Drop – February 23

Homelessness doesn’t just happen in the city. It is happening right in our own backyard, to our friends and neighbors. On Delmarva alone, nearly 3,000 people experience homelessness on any given night.

How can we help? Shelters located across Delmarva are serving the homeless – tirelessly. Supplies as simple as coffee & a sleeve of coffee cups, wipes, packages of socks, and blankets make a difference. When we ALL make an effort, we can make a significant difference.

Friday, February 23, we’re asking you to join us in heading to your local area shelter to drop off some needed supplies. You’ll find a complete list of shelters closest to you as well as a list of needed supplies below. Get involved. Save a life. That’s love worth sharing.

On Friday, February 23 join listeners across Delmarva making a change in the lives of so many in our region by donating personal items, and food to local homeless shelters and resource centers. Each location will have volunteers on hand to accept your donations. Supply drop off times vary by location – so please check the list before heading to your nearest location.
