The Smyrna-Clayton Ministerium was founded in the early 1960’s as an Ecumenical community of Christian clergy working together to help meet the needs of fellow citizens in crisis in the Smyrna-Clayton area. A food pantry, personal items closet, and financial assistance are some of the on-going ministries. Annual community services are held on Good Friday, September 11th and Thanksgiving Eve. An annual Community Thanksgiving Dinner is held on the Sunday prior to Thanksgiving Day at the Smyrna Firehouse and is free to the public. Interested clergy and lay ministers are invited to attend our monthly meetings held at noon on the second Tuesday of each month from August through May at St. Polycarp Roman Catholic Church in Smyrna.
