Mark Dickey serves as Assistant Program Director, as well as Afternoon Show Host, at The Bridge.
Mark was born and raised in Maryland, spending most of his time in Queen Anne’s County. He got his start in audio production at the age of 13 when he acquired some modest recording equipment for his parent’s computer. He has been recording his own music, as well as his friends’ music, ever since.
Mark is a graduate of Salisbury University with a Bachelor’s Degree in Media Production. Since then he has been an audio engineer intern at Elevation Church, in Charlotte, NC; and most recently served as Media Director at Eagle’s Nest Church in Milton, DE.
In 2016, Mark married his wife Brittany, and they now reside in Georgetown, DE, along with their favorite outside pet, Karen the Heron (she lives in the pond out back)! Mark enjoys board game nights, and playing drums for various groups.
Things you’ll find on Mark’s bucket list include wrestling an alligator, jumping onto a moving train, and playing drums in a classy jazz club while wearing a suit. His retirement plan is to own and operate a recording studio built inside of an old church.
Fun facts about Mark: His family had an alpaca farm while he was growing up. He built the drum set that he currently plays under the company name “Bridge Custom Drums.” (The name being a complete coincidence… or is it?!) And, Mark can be won over with an offer of apple crisp!
