Denise Harper heard Christine’s story, and shared it with The Bridge Listeners on-air.
Christine works in an indie bookstore and meets many people. One day she met an older woman who was shopping for books, art supplies, and chocolate for her husband.
These awesomely happy, weird, little old ladies are often a pleasure for Christine at work. That day, she witnessed an unexpected encounter that spoke to her on a very deep level.
The profound lesson the woman conveyed was to always be kind. You cannot know all the times you have hurt people in tiny significant ways. It is easy to be cruel without meaning to be. There’s nothing you can do about that, but you can choose to be kind. Be kind.
